Located at the entrance to the Račková Valley (approx. 35 km from the campsite). The museum showcases the original architecture and way of life in the Liptov region during the 19th and early 20th centuries. Visitors can see authentic wooden houses, a school, a church, a nobleman's mansion, and a blacksmith's workshop. The museum also hosts themed events and craft demonstrations.
Museum of the Liptov Village – Vlkolínec
Vlkolínec, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a uniquely preserved mountain settlement with traditional wooden folk architecture. Located near Ružomberok (about 65 km from the campsite), the village captivates visitors with its authentic atmosphere, preserved cottages, a well, belfry, and shepherd’s buildings. Vlkolínec is ideal for a peaceful trip combined with photography.
Stará Ľubovňa Open-Air Museum
A large open-air museum of folk architecture located beneath Ľubovňa Castle (approx. 80 km from the campsite). The museum consists of around 25 buildings, including wooden houses, farm structures, a school, and a Greek Catholic church from Matysová. The tour is enriched with explanations about traditional ways of life and live craft demonstrations.
