Located near the Tatralandia water park (approx. 55 km from the campsite), ZOO Kontakt offers a unique experience of direct interaction with various animal species. Visitors can pet, feed, and photograph both domestic and exotic animals under the supervision of experienced handlers. Ideal for families with children.
ZOO Spišská Nová Ves
The smallest but very pleasant zoo in Slovakia, located in the centre of Spišská Nová Ves (approx. 50 km from the campsite). On an 8-hectare site, it houses more than 500 animals in natural enclosures. Favourites include the Siberian tiger, lion, llama, and various hoofed animals. The complex also includes a playground and snack bar.
Animal Farm at Hotel Hubert, Gerlachov
Located only about 20 km from the campsite, the animal farm is part of the Hotel Hubert premises. Visitors can see and pet a variety of domestic and forest animals such as ponies, sheep, goats, horses, and mouflons. Children can even try pony riding. The farm is a great combination of nature relaxation and an engaging experience for both young and old.
